“These are the tap handles of the Starship Enterprise…”
(not really, but it was fun to say)
As a big Star Trek: Original Series fan, I’ve done Star Trek flight decks and wanted try my hand on making tap handles with a similar look.
Here’s the end result.
I followed a similar theme used for the fight decks, routed groove to divide the Service Branch color addition, and added the insignia via a vinyl decal made with my wife’s Cameo machine.
The post is pine to keep it light, while the topper is oak stained Provincial.
